Non-Newtonian fluid, as it's popularly called; it's anything that acts as a liquid most of the time but as a solid when force is applied to it.The easiest way to make it is to just mix corn starch and water. Beware though, the recipe is something like ten parts corn starch to one part water.Maggie and I made it once. It's cool. You can sink your finger into it easily but if you hit it your finger bounces off without getting wet.
