Bleh...

I'm completely exhausted. And on top of that, my nose is still running. Only every now and then, but still... It's been over a week and a half.

Bleh...

So Philip got this package from Japan. It was a bunch of comic books in Japanese.

Boooringgg...

But there was an awesome side too, it was packaged in a Japanese newspaper from the fifteenth of this month. We [me and Andrew] flattened it out the best we could (without resorting to an iron) and are now letting it press under six of our biggest books.

They had all kinds of weird things in it. Like a picture of a bunch of blue cartoon cars with faces, an editorial cartoon, an update on the war in Iraq, a Go problem, even a fashion page. I didn't see a funnies section, but we are missing eight pages, so it might be in there.

That or Japan doesn't have funny pages. What a horrible though!

I didn't think Japan had any troops over in Iraq. Do they have an update because they're completely obsessed with everything Americans do, or because the Iraq war is THE big news all over the world?

I want to try out that Go problem. It looks like it has got to be fun.

The Great Wall

Thanks go to Michael for showing this to me. Now, I must share it with everyone else I know because PotC is just that awesome.

------

"You didn't capitalize 'great wall of china'!"
"That's because it's an adjective."
"It's a name."
"With an adjective."
"What's an adjective?"
"It modifies a noun."
"WHERE'S the adjective?"
"Great."
"What IS great?"
"Greater than you!"
"Fair enough."

That was a great 'argument'.

Miniatures

I want MechWarrior clicks. You know that miniature game with giant robots that kill each other? Yup, that's the one. I can't seem to find very thorough information on them with the 'net. All I found was this site and the wikipedia article. Though, to be fair, I wasn't really spending much effort on it.

It was a pretty random thought too - that I wanted a few of these guys. I haven't played it in a long time, nothing to suddenly say, "Buy me... buy me..." Very strange...

There is the problem that it's not cheep. $10-$30 for a set of miniatures, ranging from 4-10 pieces per set. That's around $2.50 per miniature.

I suppose I should be glad I have reality to kick me whenever I get wistful.
